Beautiful scenery to take in. As English speaking we struggled to communicate our needs. The place was very busy and where we sat it was cramped. The server had to repeatedly try to squeeze behind my husband's chair to access items. It was quite frustrating. The spaghetti was delicious even though we tried to order lasagna and were told they were out. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

Good sandwich, not too high prices but the wait has been really endless: apparently this small "restaurant" has the kitchen in anyway with the one next to it and this slows down the service ...

Great pizzas instant service and kindness

Charging 3 euros per person for a place setting is a very efficient way of permanently chasing me away.I used to come here several times a year and eat pizza here (which is still good), but it gets smaller every time.What used to be normal is now "maxi" and much more expensive (although the price of normal pizzas is not very good)The ambience has become more sterile, the service was OK.Nevertheless, this place setting surcharge is a practice that I personally consider to be dubious.A shame, the "Kasarnjak" will probably fall from my list of stops in the future 😞

Excellent pizzas, thin bases and flavoursome toppings

Beautiful sunny day last Sunday, it was hot and we wanted to have a meal out on the benches of the restaurant to enjoy the day. Let's go in and ask if it's possible to eat outside, answered by a waitress: "it's cold outside if you want to eat out you can serve yourself". We left, we gave our money to a restaurant a few meters away that served us with a smile and without answering badly. I say, maybe you did not need to have more income because the tourist area allows you to do it, but the ability to adapt to the question I think it is something that should be rewarded and in this case it was not so.

Decent food, bad service, forgetfulness of the oil and bread (for 10 people with 5 first courses, they brought us 4 slices of bread)! In addition to this, the people around us came later, it was served before us!

Arriving just before 2 pm they made us sit down, when we couldn't have lunch in a nearby restaurant because they had already closed the kitchen. We had 3 Milanese cutlets with french fries, a mixed salad and a portion of chips aside. Cutlet not frozen and breaded at the moment, very good, excellent fried food. Salad with: corn, olives, lettuce, turnip, beans and tuna. Half a liter of wine and a liter of water. Spent € 51, more than fair price given the generous portions. The menu is varied, ranging from pizza, to fish, to the most typical dishes of the area where the restaurant is located. The prices in general seemed good to me, but I can't judge the quality of the other dishes, excluding the cutlets and the salad obviously. Friendly staff and fast service, recommended!

Quality food, good red wine, I took the typical polenta dish with roe ( capriolo con polenta)absolutely delicious: excellent quality meat stewed with wine and juniper berries, wow! Welcoming warm place just at the foot of the mountain lussari. I recommend it

Whenever I am in Tarvisio for work, I stop for lunch. I think we eat well. Right portions and well cooked. Clean and tidy welcoming place. The owner is exquisite. I also got to try pizza and found it tasty. Recommended. I have read many negative reviews, the place I frequent for years but I've never had bad situations. I'm sorry.

Enter a room and not be welcomed as it should neither the maid nor the owner made us turn around and go to another place where they welcomed us willingly.Maybe it saves you that you are in the area and in a place where it hits tourists! Congratulations

Definitely welcoming environment and availability of management. Table service Then one of the few places that organizes the New Year's Eve dinner with free menu, without fixed quotas. But a platter of cured meats around 50.00 euros provides that in the end we paid as much as a dinner in style !!

45 minutes of waiting and only after a reminder we had the grilled chicken breast (very complicated dish in the preparation) to you the appropriate considerations. There is so much better to little more! Staff, however, kind and welcoming despite everything except the cashier that if she had been bitten by a cobra she would have spat less venom! Non-existent service.We arrived on Sunday at 1.40pm. The place was full but it was emptying. So we sat outside looking at the beautiful sunny day, and we were totally forgotten there. We waited half an hour to receive the drinks and the pizzas arrived an hour later.It is not possible to wait an hour and a half for 4 pizzas at a time when the place is emptying. Meanwhile, the waitress saw herself very little outside and never asked us for anything. The pizza was good, but at 3pm, after a walk in the mountains, I would have liked to have eaten the wooden bench.

Extremly high costs for nothing. Small beer 4.5 Euro. Main courses just 80g ( Gnocchi and Pasta) 10-15 Euro. portions extremly small and simple. No good service

Despite the semi-empty room, the beer arrived 40 minutes after the order, the sandwich arrived after an hour. Pizza sandwich arrived only after the threat of leaving and composed in an absolutely superficial way. Under these conditions, prices are excessively high.

The kitchen is open until 22:00, ideal for a pizza after an excursion.

The staff was super friendly, even though we appeared at an absolute marginal time and Pizza Diavola is a poem - just fantastic! That's why I came to the photo only half-eaten pizza ... Recommendation!
